30 Years and Going Strong
Since its inception in 1980, the Detroit chapter of the Michigan State University Black Alumni organization has grown into the largest and most active MSU black alumni club in existence. We are a volunteer-run, membership based organization that provides a vehicle for MSU Black alumni to support and promote the welfare and interests of Black alumni, students, faculty and staff of Michigan State University.The MSUBA-Detroit chapter hosts a number of networking events each year designed to promote fellowship among our members, raise money for our philanthropic initiatives and provide a forum for relevant issues requiring the attention of the greater MSU community and beyond. Going forward, our organization seeks to leverage our history of success to improve our individual and collective futures.
